Trainers' Profile

Ryan Lim | Principal Consultant & Founder Ryan is the Principal Consultant & Founding Partner of QED Consulting. He has been a digital marketer for over 18 years, and is a pioneer in social media marketing. Ryan now advises senior management teams of some of the world’s leading businesses and brands on digital transformation, digital team structures and digital marketing strategies.

As an industry thought leader, Ryan is constantly sought after by national press and leading marketing publications to share his insights and opinions that often shape the regional digital marketing industry. By 2016, he had trained over 3,000 professionals across the ASEAN region in digital and social media marketing. As course developer for leading tertiary institutions, Ryan often lectures at Singapore Management University, Nanyang Technological University, and Republic Polytechnic. On select occasions, he mentors business owners on their digital business and strategies.

Ryan is currently the Chairman of the Social Media sub-committee at the Advertising Standards Authority of Singapore, and also serves on the Advisory Committee of Republic Polytechnic’s School of Management and Communication. In January 2015, Ryan was appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors to Singapore’s Media Development Authority. Up to October 2018, he was a Member of the Board of Directors of the Infocomm Media Development Authority. In August 2018, Ryan was conferred the SkillsFuture Fellowship, Singapore’s highest skills award presented by the President of the Republic of Singapore.

Natasha Zhao | Partner & Senior Consultant Natasha is a Partner & Senior Consultant at QED with a decade of experience in digital communications. She advises & builds strategies for Fortune 500 Multinational Corporations & Small to Medium Enterprises that leverage digital mediums to drive their business in both local and regional markets. Her experience spans both B2B & B2C companies, such as Coca-Cola, CA Technologies, Discovery Channel, Dolby and Unilever.

Natasha has led organisations in digital transformation, re-structuring their digital communications & marketing departments for digital integration & implementation; establishing streamlined workflow processes & developing policies to help the organization meet the demands of consumer engagement in today’s digital environment.

Natasha sits on the Media Literacy Council appointed by the Minister in office at the Ministry of Communications and Information. She also has a passion for pedagogy and has adjunct lectured in Singapore Management University, Singapore Institute of Technology, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Singapore Polytechnic. As a firm advocate of raising the standards of digital communications, she conducts regular social media masterclasses in Singapore, Malaysia & Hong Kong.
