17 June 2019, Singapore - Singapore-based digital marketing and strategy firm, QED Consulting, has appointed Mr Melvin Kwek as Strategic Advisor to its advisory board.
A financial industry veteran of more than 20 years, Mr Kwek held various senior banking roles in tier 1 global banks. Starting his career at Citigroup, Mr Kwek then moved to Swiss private bank UBS and thereafter Credit Suisse.
For more than a decade at UBS, Mr Kwek drove key initiatives to drive market strategies and developments in wealth management for Asia Pacific, building and modernising platforms instrumental to growth for the ultra high net worth, entrepreneurs and financial services businesses.
At Credit Suisse, he was regional head of marketing business management and digital marketing. Mr Kwek is currently Managing Director of business solutions provider, Vantage Point.
He is actively serving on the board of the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC), and is currently Chairman of the SDC Audit Committee. He is heavily involved in charting the strategic digital and brand transformation initiatives of SDC.
In his new capacity as Strategic Advisor at QED, Mr Kwek will advise on new business trajectories for QED as it prepares to expand its suite of offerings into strategic leadership counsel.
